The final round of the 2011 World Rally Championship is taking place is the hills and valleys of Wales. The appropriately named WRC Wales Rally GB 2011 begins on Thursday the 11th of November from Conway Quay.
Martin, the man responsible for BigJimny.com, arranged for a Jimny-only weekend at Wagtail. The event, named BigJimny@Wagtail, began on the Saturday evening when we arrived to setup camp.
Our first attendance at the all-tarmac Rally Of The Midlands. It was an action packed day to say the least.
This is the third year running we have attended the The Rainworth Skoda Dukeries Rally, and as always it was a spectacular day.
A few weeks ago at the British indoor 4x4 Show we discovered the Shropshire Gunbus' Newly painted, refurbished and restored Pinzgauer 716 Hard Top. We were so captivated by the machine that we managed to wangle an invitation to their Pinz Experiance day at Ash4x4 in Shropshire.
Again another years passing can be marked with the start of another British Indoor 4x4 Show and like last year it was held at the Staffordshire County Showground. There was a small difference which seperated this years event from the others; the Jimny is entered into the Cool Trucks category of the modified vehicles competition.
Back in May of this year, just a few days after completing the Jimny, Heather and I drove out into the Peaks to Hartington Quarry for a photoshoot with Steve Taylor a photographer working for Total Off Road. Its been 7 months since we attended, and the article has now been published in the January 2011 Issue of Total Off Road.
9 Countries, 21 days and 3500 miles, The 2010 Croatia Tour. We stop in Paris, Geneva, Venice and Budapest for the Formula 1 Grand Prix on our way down to Zagreb for the start of a 10 day tour around the country.
The British Rallycross Championship Round Three held at Blyton in Lincolnshire. This is the first ever Rallycross event to be held at night. The event was also broadcast live on Motors TV.
Once again we head out in the morning to Sherwood Pines for SS3 of the 2010 Rainworth Skoda Dukeries Rally.

The Total Off Road Live event at Kirton Off Road Centre is the perfect site for the Jimnys first proper excursion. We spent the day at the centre.
