  • Fixed it (again).
October saw the demise of the front radius arms at Weston Coyney. Now the vehicle has been repaired, and upgraded. I've received a set of updated HD arms as replacements to the failed originals. I've also gone and bought a steering stabiliser at long last.

Lets hope the new updated arms hold strong. They look quite a bit different to the old set. They come with a lifetime guarantee so if I do manage to break them, I'm covered.

I couldn't get the old rusted & rottted bushes out so I bought a full front set of Super Pro poly-bushes. They still needed to be pressed in but they required nowhere near as much pressure.

Moveing the axle around was made simpler with the ratchet straps and a jack to twist the axle back. Once I figured out what to do it didn't take long.

Possibly the simplest modification to do, the steering stabiliser was fitted in under an hour. I'll have to report back later on the difference it makes to driving.

Its December, snow season, and the Jimny is sat waiting for the illicit white powder to fall from the clouds. When it does, we're ready.......
